THE first ever Bromsgrove Food Festival is heading to the town centre this week.

More than 30 different stalls are on the billing for the new free festival, which takes place on the High Street on Sunday, June 25, from 10am until 6pm.

Local chefs will showcase the very best of the town’s culinary offerings, while there will also be stalls bringing a selection of food and drink products from around the globe.

Entertainment will be provided in the shape of live music, face painting for children, a booth and a stilt walker.

Owen Prosser-Stock, event manager at CJ’s Events Warwickshire, who are running the event, said: “We took over the Bromsgrove market back in February 2016.

“This year we are excited to bring our first Bromsgrove event to the town with many more to come.”

The festival organisers also run the successful Warwick and Kenilworth Food Festivals.
