POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man police would like to speak to as concerns grow for a 15-year-old girl missing from Beoley.

A girl who officers believe to be Cindy Worthington was spotted on CCTV with the man prior to being reported missing.

Cindy was reported missing at around 9pm on Monday, August 14.

She is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall with dark, shoulder-length hair and was wearing black leggings, a white crop top, grey hooded top and glasses when she was last seen.

Detective Sergeant Tim Macrae said: "As part of work to locate Cindy we have tried to trace some of her movements prior to her being reported missing on Monday.

"The CCTV footage was taken at around 1am on Monday morning at the Edward Elgar statue on High Street, Worcester.

"We're keen to identify this man as we believe he may have information that could help us to locate Cindy.

"We're extremely concerned for Cindy's welfare and are urging anyone who sees her or knows of her whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency.

"We believe she may have left the area and has been known to travel widely, with connections around the country.

"We're keen for this appeal to be shared as far and wide as possible."

West Mercia Police has also released a second image of missing Cindy.

Anybody who has seen Cindy or recognises the man in the CCTV image is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101.
