A STRETCH of the M42 at Bromsgrove was closed this morning while firefighters tackled a vehicle fire.
One lane on the northbound road between J1 for the A38 and J2 for the A441 was cordoned off for more than an hour, after emergency services arrived on scene just before 7am.
Crews in two fire engines worked to extinguish the blaze and all lanes have since been reopened.
No one was reported injured.
