MUSICIAN: Joanna Gutovska will perform on cello
A NEW series of free monthly Saturday morning concerts are coming to St John’s Church.
The first concert will be performed by Joanna Gutovska on cello and Mateusz Rettner on piano at the Kidderminster Road church on Saturday, September 23, from 10.30am.
Titled ‘Autumn Reflections’, the 50-minute performance will feature music by Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy, Johannes Brahms and Robert Schumann.
Visitors are welcomed to enjoy coffee or tea and cake after the show.
The next concert will take place on October 18, with entertainment provided by two local flautists, Helen Foster and Janine Porter, in a programme titled ‘Flute Fusion’.
