TRAINS stopping at Bromsgrove between Worcester and Birmingham New Street may be delayed by up to an hour. 

The issue has been caused due to a fault with the signalling system between Hereford and Worcester Foregate Street.

Commuters will face rush-hour delays, depsite the problem now being rectified with all lines between the stations have reopened.

Network Rail are warning trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes as services return to normal, until 6pm.

London Midland customers are being urged to use a road transport shuttle between Hereford and Worcester and also between Droitwich Spa, Bromsgrove and Longbridge.

Road transport will be supplied by Applegates Coaches, Sovereign Coaches, Five Star Cars and Eminence Travel.
