A FEARLESS fundraiser from Bromsgrove has completed 40 daring challenges in time for his 40th birthday, to raise money for his friends' charity.

Paul Banner jumped out of a plane, ran a marathon and completed an ice-climbing trial to support Bromsgrove-based charity Libby Mae's Little Angels.

His final challenge was to create and bury a time capsule filled with pictures of his fundraising achievements, to open on his 80th birthday.

Paul's friends Richard and Charlotte Sharratt launched Libby Mae's Little Angels in 2013 following the tragic loss of their baby daughter.

The couple have been working tirelessly since to improve neonatal services across the Midlands and supply hospitals with equipment to help save babies' lives.

Charlotte said: "All 40 challenges have now been completed and Paul has raised a staggering £1045.00.

"We are overwhelmed at the support we receive for the charity and are so grateful to Paul for his amazing efforts."
