STUDENTS at Bromsgrove School have been learning how to cope with the stresses of teenage life from an expert life coach.
Year eight students took part in a series of mindfulness workshops with StressBox's Liam Joe, who also works as a fitness instructor, practicing relaxing techniques.
Head of PSHEE Elizabeth Mullan said: "It is quite amazing how quickly year eight have taken on board what Liam Joe has been teaching them.
"He certainly has a fantastic way of engaging the pupils to harness their positive energy by using dynamic breathing exercises.
"They have begun understanding that raising awareness to these thoughts can enhance their emotional intelligence too."
The sessions combined energetic music and high-intensity boxing, structured to physically and mentally focus on positivity.
