THE A38 in Bromsgrove was closed in both directions this morning due to a burst water main flooding the road.
The incident happened at around 5am this morning on Birmingham Road, near to the junctions of Braces Lane and Golden Cross Lane.
West Mercia Police urged motorists to avoid the area and the road between the M5 and M42 was closed while the main was repaired.
The road was reopened in both directions three hours later.
