GLAMPING, ice skating, and pony riding are just some of the donations up for grabs in an auction to raise cash for two charities.

Residents are being invited to bid for an array of donated items as the Barnt Green office of Oulsnam Lettings raises cash for Macmillan Cancer Support and the MPS Society.

Laura Fiddes-Barron, Hewell Road branch manager, said: “We have been overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity in donating such fantastic lots for people to bid on.

“We hope that everyone is as generous with the bidding to help us raise as much money for our two charities as possible.

“We have one of our team within the company who has been very affected by MPS within the family and many of the company, including myself, have had experience with Macmillan hence them both being very close to our hearts.

“We have raised nearly £1800 with the other events we have held throughout the year and expect this to be our top fundraising event.”

Lots include a two-night glamping stay at Camp Katur in Yorkshire, ice skating for up to four people at the SnowDome in Tamworth, a pony riding day at Worcester Riding School, and a week-long football coaching course with Total Football Coaching.

The auction runs until December 11 and bids can be made for charity via oulsnam.net/lettings-blog/2017-charity-promise-auction/100116.
