A MARTIAL arts club in Wythall is inviting potential students to try their hand at one of the rarest styles of Kung Fu.
South Birmingham Kung Fu is holding a free trial at Woodrush Sports Centre this January to celebrate 21 years in the village.
Students will learn traditional martial arts, self-defence and historic weapon techniques, including Tai Chu sword and Nunchaku split staff.
Sifu Stuart Hay, who founded the club in 1997 and specialises in Shaolin Mok-Gar, said: "I’m proud to keep the tradition alive and pass on the skills and knowledge to the next generation.
"This year the club hits 21 years. Here's to the next 21."
Mok-Gar, which has roots going back more than 500 years to southern China.
Classes start at 7pm every Thursday. Beginners welcome.
