STAFF at a Bromsgrove care home are taking part in a 10k sponsored walk to support homeless people in the community.
The team at St John's Court are fundraising for Bromsgrove's Basement Project, which supports youngsters facing homelessness.
Care home manager Laura Wilkes said: "We did the same walk two years ago and we all had a lovely time.
"We hope that we will have lots of people supporting us either by joining us on the walk or by making donations to help those who find themselves requiring the support and services of the Basement Project in Bromsgrove."
The walk will commence at 10.30am on Saturday, January 13 from the St John Street home, walking through Sanders Park, up Rock Hill and down Grafton Manor, onto Stoke Pound, before stopping at the Queen's Head pub for a hot chocolate.
Anyone wishing to take part or donate should call St John's Court on 01527 575070.
