AN old established firm of Bromsgrove funeral directors is opening its doors for residents to take a closer look at its work.
As part of National Bereavement Awareness Day James Giles and Sons Ltd, in Stourbridge Road, is giving the residents a chance to look behind the scenes and during the event there will be the dedication and opening of its refurbished premises.
There has been an extensive building programme at its premises, which have included a new preparation area, mortuary and new chapels.
The Rev Wendy Moore, vicar at All Saints' Church will dedicate the chapels and Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride will attend the event.
Residents can also find out more about funeral plans and chat to ministers of religion, humanist and civil celebrants and meet a representative from Golden Charter Funeral Plans. The event is on Saturday, November 8, from 10am - 2pm, with the dedication and opening ceremony at 10.30am.
