POLICE are hunting hooded attackers who assaulted on a man in Bromsgrove in the early hours of the morning. (6 July).

The victim, who is in his 40s, was walking along Worcester Road at around 2.30am on Monday, July 6, when he heard footsteps running up behind him.

The offenders then punched him in the face, kicked him and were verbally abusive towards him before heading off in the direction of Sanders Park.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his face and body.

Pc Richard Allen from Bromsgrove police said: “We understand that the offenders were all males wearing hooded tops and that they approached the victim from behind before attacking him.

“Fortunately his injuries were not serious but it’s important that we identify those involved and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or recalls seeing a group of this description in the area at around the time of incident to give us a call.”
