A ROBBERY at a Lickey End service station is being investigated by Bromsgrove police.

The incident took place at the Esso Forest Service Station, in Birmingham Road, last Saturday, (New Year’s Day).

At 7.40pm two men drove on to the forecourt in a red Honda Civic, registration P821 GRD.

The two men went into the shop and one threatened a member of staff and took £200 from the till, before returning to the car and driving off.

The other man went to a toilet at the back and returned to the car, as the robbery took place.

The men are described as Asian and of average build. The first male is in his 30s, about 6ft, and was wearing a red long sleeve jumper. The second is in his late 20s, is shorter and was wearing a dark hat that had flaps on either side covering his ears, and black gloves.

Detective Constable Jo Bills said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was at the service station on Saturday evening and thinks they have seen the offenders.”
