AFTER a successful Christmas craft fair, Catshill residents are being invited to another craft event taking place this March.

The Easter craft fair will be held at Catshill Village Hall, in Golden Cross Lane, on Saturday, March 10, between 11am-3pm.

There will be variety of items on sale during the day, giving visitors the chance to buy some imaginative hand-made gifts for Easter or Mother’s Day.

Among the products available will be cakes, hand-made jewellery, cards and paper products made using quilling techniques, felt-work gifts, New England Themed soft furnishings and needlecraft accessories, textile jewellery, fabric art and personalised gifts.

A cafe serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits will also be open during the fair. All proceeds from the cafe will go towards the village hall’s maintenance fund.

Throughout the fair, Make and Take sessions will be running for children. These are free and give children, accompanied by an adult, the chance to make a personalised Mother’s Day card.

Craft fair organiser Loraine Cooke said: “We are really looking forward to the day.

“We have a large variety of stalls, all selling different items, and its free for visitors to come along and have a look at what is on offer from local craftspeople.”

There are still tables available for any local craft makers who would like to sell their goods at the market. Anyone interested can call Loraine on 01527 579253.
