Rubery residents encouraged to give blood

RUBERY residents are being asked to do something amazing and give blood.

NHS Blood and Transplant need volunteers to attend the next donor session in the village.

On Thursday, August 2, at Beacon Church Centre, in Whetty Lane, there will be two chances for volunteers to roll up their sleeves.

The first takes place between 1.45-4pm, the second between 5-7.30pm.

It is strongly recommended to book an appointment.
