TOWNSFOLK are being encouraged to support a three-day festival marking the 25th anniversary of the Primrose Hospice.

The charity, which is reliant on people donating funds, provides vital support and care to people suffering with cancer.

To celebrate the milestone anniversary the hospice has organised the Primrose Festival, featuring four events in a three-day period this September.

The first event, which will see the 1940s brought to life, is being held on Thursday, September 13, between 7.30-10pm.

The event will see the D-Day Darlings perform an unforgettable array of popular music from the wartime era.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person.

A golf day and dinner is being held the following day, Friday, September 14, at Bromsgrove Golf Club.

The event includes a day of golf, with competitions, then an evening with dinner and entertainment in a marquee in the grounds of the hospice, in St Godwald’s Road.

It costs £75 for the golf and dinner, or visitors can pay £40 for the golf only or £35 just for the dinner.

A family fun Mad Hatter’s Breakfast is being held between 10.30am-noon on Saturday, September 15, featuring all the famous characters from Alice in Wonderland.

Tickets cost £12 per person, or £40 for a family of four. Additional family members will cost £12 per person.

During the evening of September 15, a Carribean Night is being held between 7.30-midnight.

Organiser promise it will be a colourful night of food, entertainment and music.

Tickets cost £29.50 per person, which includes a traditional Caribbean-style dinner.
