Charity caring for retired greyhounds to hold open day

A CHARITY that cares for retired greyhounds is holding an open day on Sunday, August 5.

The event is being held between 10am-4pm at Hall Green Retired Greyhound Trust’s rehoming centre, in Stourbridge Road near Belbroughton.

Visitors will be able to see the greyhounds who need permanent homes, and trust volunteers will be on hand to answer any queries visitors may have concerning adoption procedures and living with an ex-racer.

Entry is free, and refreshments will be available plus stalls including a tombola, face painting and a greyhound wash and nail clipping service for any greyhound pets.
