Chance to see Olympic torch at Bromsgrove fitness studio

TOWNSFOLK are being given the chance to see a real Olympic torch at a charity event.

For a small fee of £2 people can have their photo taken with a torch, carried by Birmingham charity worker Dean Williams in the historic relay.

The torch will be at Nicki Carless’ fitness centre, The Studio, based in Sherwood Road, in the Aston Fields Industrial Estate, between 2-4pm this Sunday, August 5.

There will also be an Olympic-themed competition to win fitness sessions, and visitors can take part in a Zumba and Zumba Toning exercise class between 3.30-4pm, for £2.

All money raised on the day is being donated to the Primrose Hospice, in St Godwald’s Road, which provides vital support and care for people suffering with cancer.

Nicki is also organising another fund-raiser for the hospice, a Zumbathon, in September.
