Bromsgrove folk fans chance to catch a singer songwriter on farewell tour

BROMSGROVE folk fans are being encouraged to see one of the last ever performances by a legendary singer songwriter.

Harvey Andrews, who has enjoyed a career on the folk scene which has spanned five decades, is to finally hang up his travelling shoes later this year.

During his career Harvey has became known throughout the world for his no holds barred protest songs, his love songs, and his humour.

Harvey is also known for his entertaining stories and anecdotes between songs.

As part of his last tour, being held this year, Harvey will be performing at Bromsgrove Folk Club on Thursday, September 13.

Fairfield, the folk club’s resident band, will also be supporting on the night.

The event is being held at Bromsgrove Folk Club’s home, Catshill Social Club in Meadow Road.

Doors open at 7.45pm, in time for an 8.15pm start.

Admission is £6 for members, £8 for non-members.
