A STOKE Heath youngster is making her final preparations ahead of a half marathon run.
Charlotte Cole is taking part in the Bupa Great North Run this Sunday, (September 16).
The Avoncroft Road resident has been training with Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Clubs in preparation for the 13.1 mile distance.
The 20-year-old, running her first half marathon, is taking part to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Charlotte said: “I have great admiration for the work carried out by the charity, and I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help enable it continue.”
