Witnesses sought to collision of bike and car in Bromsgrove

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision involving a cycle and a car in Bromsgrove.

It happened at the junction of Hanbury Road and Worcester Road, Stroke Prior, at round 7.40am on Thursday, October 4.

The cyclist, a 34-year-old Bromsgrove woman, was in collision with a grey Citroen C3 driven by a 54-year-old Bromsgrove man.

She was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she was treated for a fractured vertebrae and bruising, but has since been discharged.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Mark Roberts in the Force Operational Support Team at Rubery Police Station on West Mercia Police's non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 54-s-041012.
