History lovers invited to Rubery event

RUBERY residents can explore some of the history of the village at an event being held this month.

Worcestershire Libraries and the Archive and Archaeological Society is joining forces with the Lickey Hills Local History Society to display documents, maps and photographs relating to Rubery and the Lickey Hills, over the past two hundred years.

The event is being held between 10am-2pm this Saturday, October 27.

The library has also been hosting an exhibition on Worcester’s new Hive, so visitors will be able to see this exhibition as well on the day, before it moves on to Broadway Library in November.
