AT Bromsgrove Petty Sessions, Louisa Kings was charged by Agnes Perrygrove, with assault.

Complainant stated that the defendant started on her husband, then attacked witness, running at her and knocking her over, punching her badly and pulling her hair.

Defendant had had a separation order from her husband and witness’ mother took him in, and since then the defendant had had a spite against the witness.

Defendant claimed she had been talking when Mrs Perrygrove came up and struck her, which another witness corroborated.

Both parties were bound over for six months and ordered to pay costs between them.

à BROMSGROVE received the second instalment of the services of motor coaches with coaches running from Kidderminster to Bromsgrove and back. Although not daily, the service was thought to show that things were moving in the right direction.

The service ran two days a week on Thursdays and Saturdays, and there were complaints that Tuesdays should have been included to accommodate the Bromsgrove and Kidderminster stock sales, and market day in Bromsgrove.
