You bet: Chipping Barnet MP Sir Sydney Chapman took a gamble on an England victory last weekend, in support of the abolition of betting tax. Sir Sydney put a £50 charity bet on England to beat Greece 3-1 at Ladbrokes in East Barnet Road, New Barnet, on Saturday, with any winnings going to the North London Hospice in Woodside Park Avenue, Woodside Park.
