A FORMER heroin addict has pleaded guilty to fraud by asking for money to pay for a taxi at houses in Redditch.
Stacey Sollis, aged 25, of Winforton Close, Redditch, admitted six charges of carrying out the fraud at houses in Edgemont Close, Hollyoaks Close, Stapleton Close, Homemeadow Lane and Acton Close between May 18 and May 22 this year.
She also asked for other similar offences to be taken into consideration when she appeared at Worcester Crown Court and admitted one charge of theft of £30.
The court heard she went to the houses and said she had been locked out and needed to borrow money for a taxi which she would later repay.
Andrew Davidson, defending, said Sollis had started offending in 2011 because of her heroin addiction. She had just been in prison serving a sentence imposed by magistrates and was now on methadone and tackling her addiction, he told the court.
Paul Whitfield, prosecuting, asked the court for a review of an existing ASBO when Sollis returns to court for sentencing on Monday, October 6.
A pre-sentence report was ordered.
