DUDLEY Council experienced a teenage takeover when youngsters were handed control of the authority for a day.
Senior councillors stepped aside on November 21 for national Takeover Day to allow borough students to lead board meetings and join meeting with council officers and civic leaders.
Pedmore Technology School pupil Louise Pardoe, aged 14, was among the young leaders on Takeover Day when she took the role of deputy leader. She attended a variety of meetings on subjects including income generation and future planning.
