KIND-HEARTED staff in TSB branches in Halesowen and Old Hill have donated 41 teddy bears to the children’s ward in Russells Hall Hospital.

TSB branches were given £100 to spend at their discretion over the festive period to help support a local charity or community service.

SB Partners from the two branches are visited the children’s ward on Tuesday to present the teddies to the children.

Louise Prince, customer service manager at TSB in Halesowen said: “TSB is a local bank that puts the local community at the heart of its work.

"Russells Hall Hospital provides a valuable service for our local area, which members of the TSB team have either benefitted from themselves or know someone who has received help from the hospital."

She added: "We are really looking forward to visiting the Children’s Ward and giving the children teddy bears in time for Christmas.”

Linda Taylor, spokesperson for Russells Hall Hospital, said: “It’s fantastic that TSB is giving to the children’s ward because donations often tend to go to other parts of the hospital. It will be lovely to be able to pass these presents on to the children.”
