A BROMSGROVE-based fostering agency has once again been recognised for its commitment to diversity in the workplace with a prestigious award.
Gay rights charity Stonewall has held its annual Midlands Workplace Equality Index Awards, and honoured Core Assets Fostering with an award.
The Stonewall top 100 employers are the best performing employers on Stonewall’s workplace equality index - an annual audit of workplace culture for lesbian, gay and bisexual staff.
This year 397 organisations submitted entries, the highest number since it launched in 2005.
Core Assets, based at Saxon Business Park in Hanbury Road, works with communities around the world improving the lives of children and families.
It ranked 32 out of the 397 companies in the index, and is also a member of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions programme.
Simon Feeke, Stonewall director of workplace programmes, said: “Core Assets and every single employer who secured a position on the Stonewall top 100 employers 2015 list performed remarkably this year.
"Competition has never been fiercer and the new criteria this year has pushed all of the top 100 to work harder than ever before.”
