YOUNGSTERS at Birchensale Middle School recently had a special guest pay them a visit.
Senior athletics coach from Birchfield Harriers Keith Holt came in to the school to work and coach some of the more able athletes, from Key Stages 2 and 3.
Keith, also an England cross country team manager, gave the young athletes a motivational talk, and put them through their paces with some co-ordination and athletics warm up drills.
A school spokesman said everyone involved in the visit had a good time.
"The children responded well to Keith's style of coaching and gained some valuable tips and advice from him," she said.
