RESIDENTS are being invited to share any issues they may have at a partners and communities together (PACT) meeting for the Cofton Hackett area.

Cofton Hackett PACT will be meeting at Rednal Social Club in Barnt Green Road on Thursday, February 5.

PACT meetings provide a forum for members of the community to raise issues that are causing concern within their neighbourhood.

People living in the village including new development houses are invited along to the meeting.

The PACT panel consists of influential representatives from local government, who have a track record of achieving positive results.

Emily Mayne, chairman of Cofton Hackett PACT, said: "Things that niggle people can grow out of proportion, when sometimes all you have to do is ask.

"We try to progress the issues raised or pass them to the most appropriate forum.

"Cofton Hackett PACT has become a powerful voice for the community which we think is currently under used.

"The government is still supporting this initiative so we need to ensure that we maximise its impact to improve the local environment for residents.

"We are interested in issues which impact any resident in Cofton Hackett."

Anyone unable to make the meeting can instead visit Cofton Hackett's Post Office, in Parsonage Drive, Rednal, to submit issues and concerns that the panel will consider.

The meeting starts at 8pm.
