STAFF at the Wychbold branch of Hobbycraft are hosting a charity swap shop to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Customers and staff are invited to bring along items for donation to the swap shop, which is taking place at the store in Webbs Garden Centre on Saturday, January 31 from 11am-3pm.

People can bring along good quality clean items, and swap them for something new for a small donation to the charity.

All money raised will be donated to the Acorns for the Three Counties, as part of the store’s national charity partner ‘Together For Short Lives’ which supports 49 children’s hospices across the UK.

Hobbycraft manager, Neil Handford, said: “A new year is the ideal time to have a clear out of things you don’t want or need anymore – so why not donate these to a really worthy cause? And who knows, your might discover something you really love in the process!”
