THE Bromsgrove general election race would produce a high-profile scalp of control were to change hands.
The seat was held for the Conservatives in 2010 by Sajid Javid who is currently culture minister in the outgoing Westminster coalition.
Mr Javid won 43.7 per cent of the vote to take a healthy majority of 11,308, Labour came second with 21.8 per cent.
The Lib Dems were third in 2010 with a 19.6 per cent share while UKIP were fourth with 5.7 per cent.
