FLOWER arrangers are hoping for a blooming good charity night in Halesowen to raise funds for Mary Stevens Hospice.
The town’s flower club will host popular demonstrator Bob Harris, from Evesham, at the event at Halesowen Library’s Shenstone Theatre on Thursday April 23 at 7.30pm.
His theme will be April Showers of Flowers and there will also be a sales table, raffle and surprise parcels in aid of the hospice, which is the club’s chosen charity for the year.
Tickets, priced £7.50 are available by calling 0121 550 3059 and doors open at 6.30pm.
The club’s next regular meeting on Thursday April 9 at the Shenstone Theatre at 7.30pm will feature a demonstration by Wendy Lawrence, from Gloucestershire, based on Floral Variations. Tickets are £4.50 on the door and all are welcome.
