A MAN appeared in court charged with stealing a total of almost £300 of items from Kidderminster stores.

Having previous pleaded guilty to stealing make-up from Wilkinson on February 18, worth £137.12 and eight blocks of cheese from Iceland, four on March 9 and four on March 12 worth £18 each, Pawel Kucharczyk appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on a fourth theft charge on Thursday, April 30.

The 32-year-old, who has lived in the country for five years and has previously had a clean record until his recent bout of theft offences, pleaded guilty to stealing £111 worth of perfume from Boots on January 14.

Chairman of the magistrates, Simon Egerton, adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports to be collected before sentencing on all crimes can be carried out.

Kucharczyk, of Lea Street, Kidderminster, was granted bail on he conditions he live and sleep at his address, does not enter Kidderminster Town Centre, unless to attend pre-arranged appointments with his solicitors, reports to the police station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 12pm and 2pm, and co-operates with the probation service.
