CHILDREN at a Kidderminster school enjoyed a visit from four feathered friends this week.
St Ambrose Catholic Primary School invited Barney the barn owl, Boo Boo the eagle owl, a Lanner Falcon called Ruthie and a barn owlet to come along and meet Year 2 pupils.
The visit was arranged as part of the youngsters’ ‘Nocturnal Animals’ topic that they are studying.
They have also been tasked with coming up with a name for the youngest barn owls.
Teacher Catherine Sherwood said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, have been inspired and have already written some fantastic reports.”
