A POP up event to promote Dying Matters Week has been hailed a success.

Charity Primrose Hospice joined forces with Redditch law firm Kerwoods Solicitors to stress the importance of people making wills.

The charity, which offers advice and support to patients living with life limiting illnesses and their families, hosted a series of events last week at Redditch's Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Staff and volunteers ran activities from bucket list writing, to asking people what they would like to do before they die?

Kerwoods Solicitors provided a free advice on will writing.

Helen Crook, from the Primrose Hospice, said it was a wonderful week meeting people and having conversations about a topic which is normally taboo.

"It’s also been a fantastic opportunity to promote what the hospice has to offer and for people to meet our lovely staff and volunteers," she said.

“The free will writing service has been popular and a great way for people to get free advice."

She thanked Kerwoods Solicitors for the firm's support.
