A BUILDING site manager from Redditch is celebrating after winning a prestigious national house-building award.
Alex Hemmings, site manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Lucet Meadow development, beat more than 15,000 entries to be honoured with a National House-Building Council Pride in the Job Quality Award.
It recognises Mr Hemming's dedication to building high-quality homes.
And it's not the first time he has been in the awards spotlight – he earned NHBC Quality Awards for his work at the development in 2013 and 2014.
Roger Northam, from Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “I’d like to congratulate Alex for winning another award – his success is thoroughly deserved.
“We’ll all be supporting Alex as he progresses through to the regional heats and hopefully to the grand final in London."
