MEMBERS of Alcester Refugee Fund are inviting people to join them for a special dinner and presentation at the Holly Bush Pub. 

The project aims to help youngsters aims to help refugee children from war torn countries. 

Terry Jones, special assistant to the Vicar of Baghdad Andrew White, will be giving a personal account of their recent travels to the Middle East including Jordan and Iraq. 

There will be video presentation followed by an informal question and answer session.

The internationally famous Canon White set up his own fund to help provide material and spiritual help to people displaced through crisis.

Alcester Refugee Fund founder Frank Wood said: "It would be wonderful if you could join us on this very special occasion.

"We greatly look forward to meeting you."

The event will be held on Thursday, October 15 from 7pm concluding with a collection for the fund.

Churches Together in Alcester, who recently formed Alcester Refugee Centre, a group with a similar aim, are set to join forces with the fund. 

A bucket collection for the fund will be taking place at Waitrose in Moorfield Road on Friday, October 16.
