HAGLEY artists are making a colourful splash in their latest exhibition of original paintings.

More than 200 pieces of work by artists in the group will go on show at Hagley Community Centre in Worcester Road over the coming weekend (November 27-29).

The club's 26th annual exhibition will be opened on Friday by Viscount Cobham, of Hagley Hall, at 7.30pm.

Visitors will get the chance to view the exhibits on Friday from 7pm to 9pm and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Member Richard Merrill said: "Everything from water colours to gouache and oils will be exhibited on whatever subjects have taken the artist's eye.

"It's a very good exhibition - we have some very accomplished artists in our club.

"There are also more paintings on show than last year."

Bromsgrove Advertiser:

All of the paintings displayed are new work and are for sale, while crafts, cards and ideas for Christmas presents will also be available to buy.

The club has more than 80 members and meets once a month for demonstrations on the second Friday of the month at St Saviour's Church Hall, Hagley.

It also has a painting circle, which meets weekly at Churchill Village Hall.
