A KIDDERMINSTER man will be walking from London to Brighton to raise vital funds for a cancer charity.

Wayne Hall, of Rangeways Road, will aim to complete the 60 mile walk in 30 hours on Saturday (May 28), to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Mr Hall said: “I have a target of £800 to raise but I hope to collect as much sponsorship as possible.

“Who knows a few extra pounds may be all it takes to put an end to this dreadful illness.

“I have been doing various 30 mile practice walks around Wyre Forest and Kidderminster. They have all gone well – I have no blisters!

“I am really looking forward to the walk now – I am getting quite excited.

“I would like to thank my family and friends, my work colleagues at Openreach, the people at the Franche Co-Op store and from Franche School for all their help and sponsorship.”
