THERE will be wagging tails from pooches of all shapes and sizes at a Stourport care home’s fun dog show this weekend.
Pet lovers from the local community are invited to bring their dogs along to Ravenhurst Residential Care Home, in Lickhill Road North, on Saturday (May 28), between noon and 4pm.
Entry to the classes, which will include waggiest tail, best trick, loveliest lady and best in show, will be £2 per dog, with the proceeds from the day being split between Forest Dog Rescue and the home’s residents’ activities fund.
All the winners will receive a professional photograph of their dog, a rosette and a doggy treat.
Carla Siwicki, activities leader, said: “So many of our residents adore animals so we thought it would be great fun to have a dog show.
“We will have plenty of entertainment for the owners too, with stalls galore, games, a tombola and refreshments.”
