POLICE are hunting a flasher who exposed himself to a group of young girls in Redditch, yesterday. 

The episode, which happened at about 6pm on Wednesday, July 27, saw a man expose himself before sitting down near a group of girls, all under ten, close to the footbridge between Kempsey Close and Hampton Close, Woodrow South.

He did not speak to the girls. He then walked off towards a nearby shop. 

He is described as white, in his 50s with blonde or grey hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts.

Inspector Darren Webster said:"We are appealing to anyone who was in this area yesterday and may have information about this incident, or the man responsible, to come forward and help us to find him.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who has experienced anything similar to contact us so that we can prevent further incidents."

Anyone with information is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101 and ask to speak to PC Adrian Corrigan or PCSO Rebecca Challinor.
