A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash between a car and motorcycle near to a pub near Kidderminster last night (July 28).

West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were called to the crash, between a Peugeot and a Yamaha motorcycle, in Stourbridge Road, in Ismere, near to the Old Wagon and Horses pub, at around 6.25pm on Thursday evening (July 28).

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital.

A spokesman from WMAS said: "We were called to reports of a crash between a car and a motorcyclist.

"We treated one patient, a a man in his 30s, for a suspected fractured arm and minor injuries to his face.

"He was then transported to Russells Hall Hospital."

A spokesman from West Mercia Police added: "Police were called just after 6.30pm to reports of a crash on Stourbridge Road.

"A silver Peugeot 306 and a red Yamaha motorcycle had been involved in a crash and the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.

"He had arm and head injuries, but these are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

"The driver of the car was uninjured."
