BROMSGROVE District Council's annual Christmas Carol Concert will be taking place at St John's Church this December.

On December 14, from 6.30pm, visitors can enjoy a complimentary drink and mince pie, while watching choirs from Fairfield First and Lickey Hills primary schools perform a selection of Christmas classics.

The event, organised by the council alongside Churches Together, will raise funds for Sunfield, a charity helping people with complex needs and autism to succeed.

The charity was chosen by Cllr Helen Jones, the chairman for Bromsgrove District Council.

Cllr Jones said: "Seeing people from across the community come together at the Bromsgrove Christmas Carol Concert is one of the highlights of the year and I’d like to welcome everyone to St John’s again. There will be plenty of Christmas spirit."
