POLICE have seized suspected drugs following the execution of a drugs warrant in Redditch.

Officers found a quantity of what they believe to be controlled drugs of class A and class B, scales and deal bags after raiding a property in Mickleton Close at about 1.15pm on Tuesday, January 17.

A 22-year-old man from the Redditch area has been interviewed and the investigation is pending further inquiries.

PC Rich Field from Redditch Safe Neighbourhood Team said: "Drugs blight our community and impact on people's quality of life.

"This drug warrant is an example of how the police and communities can work together to take drugs off the streets and keep the community safe from harm."
