WORDSLEY Amateur Dramatic Society are set to bring the gritty domestic thriller Local Murder: The Maroon Cortina to life as the group’s latest production comes to the Black Country stage.

Running at Kingswinford Methodist Church, in Stream Road, from Wednesday (February 1) until Saturday, February 4, at 7.30pm, the play was written by prolific Coronation Street screenwriter Peter Whalley.

It follows the story of Alan, a man who must defend his reputation after being accused of murdering his neighbour's daughter.

Following the accusations against him, a domestic thriller with surprising twists is set in motion.

Is Alan guilty or can his family prove his innocence? Can Detective Constable Curtis discover the truth behind the murder?

Tickets, priced £7 (£6 concessions available for pensioners and full-time students under 21), are available from the box office on 01384 353662 or 07775 753088.
