WOLVES legend Steve Bull has donated four special signed prints to be sold off for charity at a vintage memorabilia fair in Stourbridge.

The prints are the original proofs of a special oil painting – commissioned from Stourbridge-based artist Geoff Tristram more than 20 years ago – to celebrate ‘Bully’ scoring his 306th and final goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

They will be sold in aid of Alzheimer’s Society at the first ever Stourbridge Vintage Memorabilia and Collectors Fair on Sunday, April 30, at the historic Bonded Warehouse.

Steve said: “Many former footballers are living with the problems created by dementia – including my old friend Nobby Stiles who was a member of the England World Cup winning team in 1966.

“The Stourbridge Vintage Memorabilia and Collectors Fair is a clever and interesting way to generate funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and I am very pleased to support the event.”

Alongside the prints, a wide range of memorabilia and collectables donated by the public and celebrities from the world of show business and sport will be available.

Stourbridge MP Margot James said: “It is wonderful that money will be raised for Alzheimer’s Society in such an innovative way, in a historical and well known part of Stourbridge.

“I am sure that the wider community will engage with and support the event, and raise much needed funds to help dementia sufferers.”

All profits from the event will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society to support services, research and campaigning across the Black Country.
