The Halesowen News is staging a silent auction this week to help our campaign raise cash for The MS Society and Birmingham Dogs Home, as part of our work to promote the Fusion of Music and Dance gala concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Sunday, May 7.

We have three lots you can bid for: Riverside Caravan Park on the outskirts of Stratford is offering a weekend’s stay in one of their luxury glamping pods. Sleeping up to four people, the pods are fully equipped with a fridge, heater and camping pack, which includes crockery, cutlery, a kettle, toaster, single burner cooker and cooking utensils, for the ultimate up-market camping experience, nestled on the banks of the beautiful River Avon. Each pod has a sofa which converts into a double bed, plus two bunk beds, and they even have their own on-site designated shower and toilet block.

Warwick Folk Festival is giving a family day ticket, valid for up to two adults and two children and worth £115, for this summer’s hotly anticipated celebration of all things folk.
