MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Rock Choir helped to raise hundreds of pounds for Primrose Hospice and Friends of St Godwalds with a charity concert.
The group joined 70 fellow rock choir members from Kidderminster, Redditch and Stourbridge, for the fundraiser at St Godwalds Church in Bromsgrove.
A total of £722.50 was raised from tickets and a raffle at the event on April 22.
Bromsgrove Rock Choir leader, Christa Hugo, said: “We were so pleased to be able to help raise much-needed funds for Primrose Hospice with our concert and had such a warm and appreciative reaction from the audience.”
Sue Wilkes, Rock Choir member and St Godwald parishioner, said: “Everyone was talking about our performance in church this morning and wished we’d sung more.”
